Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the South Eastern School District.  All volunteer information is centralized in the Human Resources Department at the Administration Building.  You must complete six items to be a South Eastern School District volunteer.  When you complete all six items you may submit them to the Human Resources Department.

1. Please complete and return the Volunteer Application - Dec. 2017.pdf.  This link gives you direct access to the form.

2.Child Abuse History Clearance.  You can create an account online: PA Child Welfare Portal.  This link gives you direct access to the PA Child Welfare Portal.
The fee is waived  for
volunteers.  You must provide a copy of your approved clearance and show the original to Human Resources.

3. PA Criminal Record. You can register online by accessing:  PA Access to Criminal History   (epatch.state.pa.us).  This link gives you direct access to the PA Criminal History website.  The fee is waived for  volunteers.  You must provide a copy of your approved clearance and show the original Human Resources.

4. FBI Fingerprint Clearance

n FBI Clearance is not required if you attest that you have lived in Pennsylvania for at least 10 consecutive years and have not been convicted of an offense listed on the disclosure statement. The Disclosure Statement Application for Volunteers (FBI Clearance Not Required).pdf must be completed and submitted.  This link gives you direct access to the Disclosure Statement.

All volunteers who are not eligible to complete the Disclosure Statement Application for Volunteers must register for the fingerprint clearance prior to going to the fingerprint center via the IdentoGO website at http://uenroll.identogo.com.  This link gives you direct access to the IdentoGO website.   The website is available 24 hours/day, seven days/week or call 1-844-321-2101 (Monday – Friday, 8:00 A. M. – 6:00 P. M.).   When you register, you must enter the appropriate service code for PDE (PA Department of Education): 1KG6Y3.

We can accept the FBI clearance from the Department of Public Welfare, but we must see the original clearance that you received in the mail.  If you are not able to present the original then you must follow the process outlined on this page.

You will pay a fee of $22.60 for the fingerprint clearance.  Acceptable payment options are:  a credit or debit card, a money order or cashier’s check.  Payment is made at the fingerprint location.  Money orders and cashier’s checks must be made out to Morpho Trust.  Cash and personal checks will NOT be accepted at the fingerprint sites.

You are required to provide proof of identity at the fingerprint center.  Proof of identity includes items such as a state issued driver’s license, state ID card, passport, etc.

When your fingerprints are taken at the fingerprint location, you will be issued a receipt with your UEID (Universal Enrollment ID).  This is the number that you must provide to the South Eastern School District’s Human Resources Department (in order for HR to access your FBI clearance online).

More detailed information may be found on the PDE website: www.pde.state.pa.us.  This link gives you direct access to the Pennsylvania Department of Education website.

Once registered, you can have your fingerprints taken at any of the locations listed on the IdentoGO website.  When registering online, you can view locations on the IdentoGO website: http://uenroll.identogo.com.  This link gives you direct access to the IdentoGO locations for FBI fingerprinting.

Volunteers need to renew their clearances every five (5) years.

Note:  Volunteers providing a service to the District for an aggregate period of time exceeding 10 hours per week throughout the school year must undergo a tuberculosis  screen.

When you have all six of the above required forms, please bring your original clearances and a set of copies to Human Resources in the SESD Administration Building (377 Main Street, Fawn Grove, PA 17321).

Thank you for volunteering.  We hope that you find the experience rewarding.
