First tracks made a special visit to one of our classrooms at Fawn Area Elementary! First tracks is a husband-and-wife team that have trained their dogs to be search and rescue dogs. They volunteer to help local search and rescue teams and law enforcement teams to find missing people. They have one retired dog named Tracks and one active dog named Lilly. Thank you so much to the presenters for coming in and sharing all of the incredible things that you are doing!

Our 10th grade students had a great day participating in the Junior Achievement STEM Summit at Kennard-Dale High School on Tuesday, September 15!
Students participated in hands-on science, technology, engineering, math, and trades activities while exploring different career pathways and opportunities for their future.

A BIG shoutout to Jennifer Adams, our Career and Employment Connections Coordinator, for coordinating the event and creating such a great experience for our students! We appreciate all of the time and effort she put into making the STEM Summit possible.

Public Notice of the Destruction of Special Education Records:

South Eastern School District plans on the destruction of IEPs, GIEPs, and 504 service agreement records pertaining to students who have a birthdate during the year of 2002. The district plans on the destruction of these records to begin September 21, 2026.
