More than 130 Inspire and Impact Award nominations were submitted for our incredible students, teachers, and staff. The central office team truly struggled to identify the winners, simply because there were so many worthy candidates.
Each nomination was assessed based on qualities like creativity, diligence, kindness, and compassion, as well as the nominee's dedication to bettering the lives of those around them. ✨
It is an honor to highlight the 2026 Inspire and Impact Award winners, honorable mentions, and nominees in the video below. While there are only a handful of official winners, it's clear that Rams students and employees are inspiring others and making a positive impact each and every day! 🐑❤️

The Kids on the Run season concluded in May with the 14th annual Delta Kids Run 5K. Over the past few weeks, 138 students across the district participated in this program to build endurance, strengthen relationships, and train for this 5K event. Congratulations to all of the student runners, and the parents, guardians, siblings and friends that joined us in running and celebrating their accomplishments. And a big thank you to Model-A-Fitness for running this incredible event!
The event was filled with so many accomplishments and is a true representative of the districts' mission to Inspire and Impact. The students cheered each other on, offered words of encouragement throughout the race and exhibited incredible sportsmanship across grade levels and buildings. We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of these students!

A group of students from SEIS, SEMS and KDHS collaborated with the Ma and Pa Railroad and Village of Muddy Creek Forks and the Muddy Creek Branch of Trout Unlimited to assist with trout stocking. All participants enjoyed a train ride through the countryside from Muddy Creek Forks to Guinston Forge. The train periodically stopped to stock trout in the North Branch of Muddy Creek. Students learned the importance of Trout Stocking, the history of the Muddy Creeks Forks Village, and enjoyed time socializing and getting to know each other.

Our flock has grown! Miss Wood’s kindergarten class became parents to six chicks! For 21 days we talked about the life cycle of a chicken, how to incubate eggs, the role of a mother hen, and how to candle eggs. Thanks to generous donations from parents, we hatched our eggs and got to watch our chicks grow! We named them Nugget, Noodle Soup, Yankees, Marshmallow, Toast, and No Name. Thank you again to the families that made this possible!

“A Legacy of Learning: Honoring Our District Retirees” is the title of our latest Inspire and Impact episode. In this episode we are honored to recognize several of our district retirees. These educators and support staff have dedicated years of service to our students and schools. Their work has not only impacted classrooms, but has helped build the culture and heart of our district. Retirement is not just an ending, it is a celebration of a legacy.
We thank them for your years of dedication, their care for students, their commitment to excellence, and the countless ways they have strengthened our schools. Their impact will continue long after their final day in the classroom or office. It lives on in the students they’ve taught, the colleagues they’ve supported, and the culture they’ve helped build.
On behalf of our entire district, we wish them joy, rest, and fulfillment in this next chapter.

“Bringing the Community Together” is the title of our latest Inspire and Impact episode. In this episode we are proud to highlight our recent event featuring the Harlem Wizards, bringing together students, staff, families, and community members for an evening of fun, laughter, and purpose.
This event was more than just entertainment; it was a fundraiser supporting three important causes:
The South Eastern Community Educational Foundation, which provides grants for innovative classroom experiences
The South Eastern Sunshine Fund, which supports families facing hardships
The American Heart Association
Events like this remind us of the power of coming together for a purpose that supports our students, our staff, and our families. The Harlem Wizards event was more than a game, it was a celebration of community, generosity, and impact.

“Empowering Learning Through Innovation” is our newest Inspire and Impact episode and an important part of effective teaching. In this episode we are proud to highlight the work of our K–12 Technology Integration Specialist, Ms. Brooke Gates, whose leadership and support have helped transform how technology is used across our district.
Brooke’s work focuses on more than just introducing new tools, it’s about creating efficiency, improving instruction, and helping both teachers and students become more effective in their work. Innovation, when done thoughtfully, can truly make a positive impact on teaching and student learning.

Best wishes to students across PA who continue taking their state assessments this week! Teachers at Fawn Area Elementary helped their students prepare in some creative ways, like dressing as vocabulary words. Students are encouraged to be well rested and have a good breakfast to be at their best, which is great advice for every day.

Learning beyond the classroom! Our 8th graders traveled to Gettysburg earlier this month, where they explored the Seminary Ridge Museum, participated in a Civil War medical presentation, and visited historic sites including Little Round Top, the Pennsylvania Monument, and the High Water Mark.
