Hotspot Requests

The South Eastern School District has the opportunity to participate in the FCC Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) Program.  The program will help schools provide tools for remote learning.  The district plans to offer Verizon hotspots for remote learning and to close the Homework Gap for students who currently lack necessary Internet access.  Please complete the following form to request a hotspot for the students in your family: 23-24 Hotspot Request Form.  We will provide one hotspot per family.  Requests are due by Monday, August 15, 2022.
All hotspots are disabled over the summer. If you did not return a district hotspot in 2022-2023 and would like to continue access in 2022-2024, please complete the form at 23-24 Hotspot Request Form.

The guardian will be notified when the hotspot is ready and pickup will be at the South Eastern School District Administration Building.  The guardian will be required to sign a form indicating that they will be responsible for the hotspot and that the home lacks the necessary Internet access for student learning.  Part of the program rules require the district to monitor hotspot usage.  If there is zero usage for a month, district personnel will contact the guardian and the hotspot may need to be returned.  Please contact the SESD Help Desk at [email protected] or 717-382-4843 x6333 with questions.
