ACT 48 Hours

ACT48 – DETERMINATION OF AND REPORTING HOURS

Determination of Act 48 Hours:

The district/organization hosting a professional development session will decide whether or not ACT48 hours will be awarded for participation in the training.

Reporting Act 48 Hours to PDE:

Many districts/organizations will only upload ACT48 hours for their own professional development in-service programs.    When attending a session hosted by an organization other than the LIU or South Eastern School District has decided to award ACT48 hours for your participation in a training, you will need to provide that organization with your PPID number and the correct spelling of your name as it appears in the ACT48 system so they may upload the ACT 48 hours to PDE.

Act 48 hours awarded for Professional Development sessions hosted by South Eastern School district will be determined by the Assistant Superintendent’s office and, if applicable, will be uploaded to PDE by the Assistant Superintendent’s office.

SESD will only upload Act48 hours for our district’s professional development sessions.  All other trainings must be PDE approved and uploaded by the hosting organization.
